The purpose of this programme is:
- To develop management skills required in the manufacturing, retail sector, service industry and financial institutions.
- To equip with the knowledge, business skills and competencies necessary to function in the private and public sector as first-line and middle-level managers.
- To impart specialized knowledge and skills in various business functions such as marketing, HR, finance, production, management, strategic planning, employee relations management, etc.
- To develop interest and the drive to become successful entrepreneurs and contribute to the economy by job creation.
The managerial skills to work with diverse workforce, plan, organize, lead and communicate to manage the organization effectively and efficiently. Business research skills to independently carry out studies to make informed decisions.
Principles and Practices
The ability to apply, analyse and evaluate theories, principles and practices to familiar and unfamiliar context to be effective managers.
The Skills in effective communication to present and communicate complex information reliably and coherently with well-formed arguments by using appropriate academic, professional or occupational conventions, formats, technologies, and discourse.
Ethical Decision Making
