Counselling services are offered to students by the Chaplain and the Psychologist and student mentoring is offered by selected staff members. In some departments tutorials are arranged for at risk students.

Philosophy:

We prepare leaders here who will show responsibility and maturity in spiritual matters. We will therefore present the best worships and services so that you will enjoy worshiping God here.

Worship Services:

There are 3 churches on campus: All Nations Campus Church; Helderberg College Church; Silverleaf Chapel.

Sabbath Services: (The Sabbath is observed as of Friday evening sunset to Saturday evening sunset)

  • Afternoon Youth meetings
  • Sunset Vespers meeting
  • Sun. – Fri. Worship in residences at 19h15

“S2S” MENTORING:

A staff mentor is assigned to all first year students, while other students choose their own mentors. This matching is done during first and second semesters.

ANNUAL POSTER CONTEST:

Submit a poster; slide show; or sms for a prize.

BI-ANNUAL WEEK OF SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS (WOSE):

A spiritual highlight once per semester when a guest speaker brings spiritual messages to students and staff. Check the calendar for dates.

PRAYER GARDEN:

A quiet place opposite Anderson Hall front entrance, where you can pray to God for yourself and others.

VOP CLUB:

A Correspondence Bible School conducted on campus by student leadership for interested students. A graduation service is conducted after students have completed the set of lessons

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS:

The projects planned for this year are: “You can challenge” in Sir Lowry’s Pass Village in October and “The Annual Shoebox Project” at a local farm school in November.
